"Budget motel with small room, without much facilities at high price. Maybe it was Pfingsten! The single beds were quite small but maybe the standard in France. The window cannot be tilt, therefore it cannot be opened while keeping the room dark. It was so hot on the hallway like max heating was turned on. Also very warm in the bathroom although nothing was on. The shower cabin was very small."

"I was disappointed in this hotel. The check-in time (1700h) was the latest I have experienced, and the proprietor was late even for that. There was no wi-fi in my room, so I had to use the bar, which was usually laid for dining, leaving no convenient place to sit. The room was large, but there was place to hang clothes. I was in Le Pouliguen for a wedding, rather than personal vacation, and the limit of my French is 'I do not speak French'. This was not at all a problem staying here, as they both spoke English quite well and made sure I understood everything, and also helped me handle things like calling a cab to get to the wedding venue. "We stayed for 3 nights in Sept 13. As always rooms in French hotels are basic and without tea making facilities. However the room was clean and the bed was very comfy. The food was pricey but excellent, all home made and it was obvious that a great deal of time had been spent in its preparation. The location is surrounded by good beaches and the area is good for cycling and walking. Many good cafes etc serving excellent sea food. We will certainly stay here again."

"We used this hotel as a stop over on way home from holiday so did not need much but still felt disappointed as hotel is tired and room was very tardy. The rooms do not have air conditioning which is fine but absolutely no drinks or tea/coffee making facilities and when I asked for coffee downstairs we were charged even though we paid €80+ for stay."
