The only thing that I was not happy about was that I inquired as to why some of the tv channels wouldn’t work and the attendant told me she would have someone come and check on it and it was never resolved. "The Hotel Illa is a good budget place in Angra. The rooms were cleaned each day and a good basic breakfast is provided. It is right in the heart of the Old town and close to the Marina. The staff were great! The negatives: No parking, needs some maintenance (peeling paint, rough closing doors etc) Can also be noisy in the mornings with pigeons and sliding furniture and banging doors. Still a good choice if you are not looking a 5*"
