The garden is a peaceful haven with lots of space and flowers... and Thames footpath is very close by. The only issue was that our room was not ready on time but the above-and-beyond helpful staff more than made up for the inconvenience and we had a delightful wait in the garden. "Double bed opening onto the garden was nice. Three suggestions for improvement: 1. Four steps from bed up to bathroom. Would be helpful to have a handrail up those steps, especially for elderly and/or in the dark. 2. Heat was off, but plug-in heater does not work (makes noise, but no output) so nights were chilly. 3. Phone reception is poor. Had to step into the garden at night to make a call. Any chance of improving?"
