"This is a cute, no-frills place run by very nice locals. It is and old landmark of some kind that has seen more famous days, but still remains charming. Very clean, however I would hope they replace the carpets at least in my third-floor room not that it was bad, just so old. Staff couldn't warmer and nicer. Super clean! No lifts so if you don't want to lug your luggage up narrow staircases don't go for top floors although my room was quiet considering the busy night life below. Near...

"Beautiful place with plenty of parking. Rooms are very good, comfortable and spacious with tea coffee and a flat screen TV. Unfortunately we arrived late so missed out on the food and drinks but will definitely return in the future as the menu, bar and restaurant looks awesome. "

"Two minutes walk from Bristol railway station. Cleanliness of room excellent, breakfast constantly topped up. On upper floor, no traffic noise though overlooking main road. No corridor noise, comfortable room. Just one issue, only one lift for the whole of the building, we had to walk up and downstairs several times."

"Location fantastic. Value for money. Lovely terrace. Lovely lady on reception. Family run business which, where I can, I like to support. This hotel is a sleeping giant. When the economy picks up I would love to think this hotel would be able to reap the rewards by giving it a fresh start. I will go again as it has everything I needed for a couple of nights away. "

"Overall our Family Room stay was okay however had to shut the windows at night due to traffic noise and the odd drunk vomiting across the street Our ajoining rooms were very clean and practical our double was a bit small I personally feel that this hotel due to its location could and would benefit from being licenced and serving food The sea view and sunset would attract Some of the surrounding pubs were a bit intimidating with stag parties etc We enjoyed our stay we would stay there again "

"First the bad bits-its past history as an hostel clearly shows, especially when you notice staff only inhabit the property, thrice daily before leaving, causing mess to linger for upto six hours.
