Great location for exploring the area, namely Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. Based very near to Wells, nice place to visit and quite a few options for dining. Host was nice and very accommodating, room was lovely and had everything you’d need.

Worth House is worth the visit !

Nice large room. Breakfast was amazing so much choice and beautifully cooked using local produce. The host was extremely friendly and offered local knowledge and lifts ! There was a lounge with an honesty bar. Would definitely recommend this exceptional B&B.

Worth House is worth it.

We stayed in the loft room and it was fab. Loads of space and well decorated and furnished. Due to traffic we arrived very late and that was no problem for them. The service was great and we had a lovely breakfast. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Our hosts Sarah & Andy could not have been more welcoming - absolutely wonderful, friendly people who went out of their way to look after us. English breakfast was superb with fresh #Farm local eggs & all the trimmings. Lovely to hear owls hoot at night & bird song in the morning. The night skies full of stars. Our room & shower were spotless! Well done 🙌

Prima Unterkunft nahe Wells

Das Worth House ist ein familienbetriebenes Bed & Breakfast etwa 4 km außerhalb von Wells an der westlichen Ausfallstraße gelegen. Der sehr persönliche und sehr gut organisierte Empfang war prima, das Zimmer in dem sehr schön sanierten, 300 Jahre alten Haus ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. Alles pieksauber, gute Betten, im Bad alles da. Unten neben der Rezeption gibt es auf Vertrauensbasis Getränke und kleine Snacks zu kaufen, was sehr schön ist, wenn man nicht mehr raus möchte. Ein guter Pub ist in einem Kilometer Entfernung gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war klasse, Auswahl zwischen English Breakfast oder Rührei mit Räucherlachs. Dicke Empfehlung.

Lovely Loft room.

Lovely Loft room, with plenty of space. Very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Sarah was very welcoming and the pot of tea on arrival was very welcome. Lovely position in Worth, near Wookey.

A beautiful place to stay.

Beautifully presented throughout, with real care and attention made to the decor and overall feel of the accommodation. Sarah, the proprietor was a wonderful host, offering advice on the local area, even suggesting a local pub for our evening meal, which was also wonderful. The breakfast was also excellent, and once again the service was just perfect. All in all highly recommended if you’re thinking of visiting Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge or the beautiful city of Wells.

A great nights sleep!

Beautiful House with garden to relax in. Host bought us coffee and tea on artival and we sat in the garden for quitd a while. Lovely warm room ..very clean. Excellent breakfast and choices. We had a really good nights sleep and super views of the mendips. Just outside Wells for a great day out. Would definately stay again.

Lovely stay in this dog friendly B&B.

Lovely room with comfy beds, nice and quiet, lovely to hear the birds tweeting and lambs baaaaaing in the morning! Very tasty breakfast and welcoming hosts, and dog friendly! Good location, walking distance to 3 pubs, we also walked into Wells for the Saturday market which is well worth a visit.

We enjoyed an excellent stay at Worth House. The B&B was comfortable, clean and well-maintained with lovely touches and attention to detail. There was also a pleasant garden where we could sit and enjoy the sunshine. Breakfast was excellent. Worth House is definitely 'worth' a visit!

Perfect. Warm welcome. Very accommodating & friendly. Room very clean & cosy. Highly recommend. We had to leave too early for breakfast but we were kindly provided with breakfast to take away.
