"This motel is located in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately, there is a little strip mall with a grocery store and Restuarant. The motel is old but not run down. The clerk was friendly. I had some difficulty understanding him. His English wasn't the best, but he was genuinely nice and hospitable. The clerk showed me the room before I signed the paperwork. I was desperate because it was late, I was tired, and the previous motel that I left was worse. The room was sufficient. It didn't smell like smoke. The bathroom and vanity were clean. The beds had pillow top mattress covers which made them comfortable. The pillows were small and stuffed inside a standard pillowcase. There were no bedbugs. There was no loud noise. There was a strange man in the parking lot that I had to ignore but I wasn't afraid. Overall, I had a comfortable stay."
