The beach is a short distance down from the dunes. You have to be able to climb up and down a sandy hill to reach water. But once you’re down, you can walk all the way over to the Pelican Brewery and the Kiwanda Sand dune. "

"I can’t recommend the room we stayed in. Maybe others are better. The bedroom has no ventilation and its only openable window is three feet from the external staircase for guests. So it was continually startling to be woken up by other guests. So, bring ear plugs and a fan. I give it two stars because the view is beautiful but lack of sleep was very hard. If you are a sound sleeper this might be better for you."
