A pleasant stay at The Anchorage Motel

The stay at the Anchorage Motel was a positive experience. They were very communicative and check-in was easy. I was pleasantly surprised to get a goody bag full of treats and a bottle of water. The room was spotless and smelled really fresh. I was delighted to see a microwave oven and a Keurig coffee maker along with a refrigerator. There were designated parking spaces for each room so there was no issue with parking. Check out was super easy. I would definitely stay there again.

I really liked the room. If anything I would have really liked a couple of more squishy pillows. I'm short - and the pillows were a bit high and didn't squish down. However, I'll bring my own pillow next time. I liked the place. Miki Charlton

Nice Place, but No Table and Chairs!

Two night stay for day hikes and the coast. We booked a king room with kitchen so we could prepare and eat breakfasts in the room. Nice decor, spacious, and a full kitchen with a leather couch. Even had washer dryer. But wait: NO TABLE AND CHAIRS! So four stars instead of 5. Seems reasonable to expect a simple table and two chairs for eating when we booked a room with kitchen. Staff said room not advertised as having a table and chairs (?!). Also said someone broke the table and/or chair(s). Sorry, no excuses please. That said, we still recommend this place but suggest first confirming a table and chairs if you get a kitchen room.

We stayed in the junior suite and it was a great little bungalow. This is a family run property and the hospitality was lovely. Great location with a short walk to the beach and local restaurants and bars. This is another gem of the Oregon coast and we’ll definitely be back.

The place is way better and nicer than what the pictures lead to be. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We travel with our dog and the guidelines for pets are clear. The room even had a dog towel, bowls and mat. For all the activities around our room was quiet and we got plenty of rest.

The owner was amazing! Great woman humble and kind! And thats what matters most to me! But it was like renting a small air bnb . 2 rooms a living room and kitchen. Great little compact area for families and friends!

Easy little spot to stay off the busy area of PC. Great because they allow pets. For those sensitive to petroleum type candles/plug-in air diffusers, may not be the property for you. Was strong. I’ve now stayed twice, always a nice staff.

Very friendly family ran place they take pride in there rooms that are updated and nicely decorated we did stay in there smaller room but still was cozy and comfortable highly recommend beach wood bar and grill the food was good and also ran buy a husband and wife they have a great night life atmosphere and only a short walk from the hotel

My husband and I booked a last minute trip to the Coast for Valentine's Day weekend. What a surprise when we got to the property. First off, the check in was super easy and the staff incredibly nice. The room was ADORABLE. Clean, comfortable bed, awesome coffee station in the room, and assigned parking. We'll be back to this place in the future. It's a family run business, so I suggest you support local!

Loved everything about the entire stay and I've always stayed there whenever visiting Pacific City but for some reason this last visit they charged me $50 extra after leaving the property to steam clean a small area of a rug that is by the door.
