"Hoyel was good value for money, good rooms, good breakfast. Our only problem was trying to book in when reception was unmanned. Very complicated and card reader failed when we finally got auto check in to work. Fortunately the receptionist arrive and book the rest if my party on."

"The two things that would make us hesitate to stay here again are the traffic and squeaky floor noises. The blinds shut out some, but not all, traffic noise. The road is the sea front major route through Chetbourg . When you walk across the floor it really .squeeks and comes from your and others rooms. Bad news if others go to bed or get up earlier than you, and if anyone gets up in the night for the loo. Shame because the room size and breakfast was amazing but I need a good and full night's...

"The girl who welcomed us was lovely and v. Helpful. The room was clean and adequate. The exterior was in need of a repaint and the front looked nothing like this photo. The breakfast area was OK and food fresh but Mr, and Mrs. grumpy were NOT so cheerful and had a couldn’t care less attitude. We were not the only ones at breakfast looking for the coffee machine which was situated in the bar behind the door. There were NO plugs in the room. You got what you paid for which was a two star...
