"The Algar is central to all the local bars, shops and restaurants. The apartments are basic and would benefit from updating but clean and provide a good base. We always chose a balcony view which allows us to eat and drink as we like if we don’t want to eat out, and certainly makes up for any basic amenities. "A really nice villa. It's big and spacious. Plenty of storage space. Bbq area outside. Washing machine is a bonus, no need to do a tonne of laundry when you get home. And it has a dishwasher. The pool is nice and cleaned regularly. We hired a car, this is needed as there isn't much that close to the villa. There is a bar over the road but it was closed while we were there. It's a 35 minute drive from Faro airport, and about 11 minutes drive to Albufeira and the beaches. The nearest...
