"Wonderful base of operations for our days into Baxter State Park (highly recommended). Wonderful views out over the lake. We enjoyed hearing the calls of the loons in the evening and overnight.Heating the place can be a little awkward (there’s a Heat & Glo) gas fireplace with a heated air fan that serves this purpose (better than I expected) and portable electric radiators for the upstairs bedrooms if needed. There’s no TV and no central air but honestly that’s part of the point - and neither...

"nothing 5 star here , just you're basic mini cabin, it was clean, staff was friendly , the grounds were nice , fire pit etc .... no complaints if you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay on the outdoorsy side of things , this is it !! "
