"Everything was adequate, basic, and clean."

"Our room was clean and comfortable. We had shared bathrooms, but we did not find this to be a problem. There was no waiting, and the bathrooms were clean. The breakfast was pretty good. There is a nature path outside that we enjoyed taking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Please note that the walls are thin; fortunately, everything quieted down pretty early and stayed quiet throughout the night. If you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay in this part of Iceland and don't mind...

"We had concerns before we got to the hotel based on the reviews but the apartment was awesome! The beds were ready for us with kids’ beds ready too and the kitchen functioned very well for us. The bedding was soft and felt pretty new. It was a comfortable stay. The location was great too. We can just walked to the lake with a bunch of unique houses and views. "

"Exquisite location, great service and extremely friendly staff. We only stayed there for 2 nights but this was by far one of the best experiences that we had throughout our 3 week trip across Iceland. The staff and hotel manager were warm and welcoming. The area is extremely peaceful and quiet and if you want to relax and read a book while enjoying the unspoilt scenery, this is the place!"

"Stayed 3 nights and lovely, warm, comfortable. Good kitchen facilities but a microwave would be handy. No bath soap or shampoo provided which is unusual as had to buy shampoo. Wonderful views. Can be noisy from footsteps in other units as line of 5 but most people quiet by 1030ish."
