"Great staff, cheap place to stay, has all the basics, however not exactly the safest area outside the hotel, likely preferable to return to your room before dark or get a taxi to the door. Overall would recommend."

"Accommodation was basic but adequate for our stay. Close to main town of St Jean and tram/bus routes. Room clean but very hot despite not turning on the heating and it being November. The water tank was directly above the toilet which was hazardous but other than that it was a comfortable stay. Our only real grumble was the neighbour above us allowed their toddler to continually run up and down at night and this often kept us awake until they finally got the child to bed! "

"Hotel is nicely situated , close to - but not in the middle of it all. Easily walkable , and although it’s in a lively area by day it is quiet on a night . It is a pleasant and basic hotel - was perfect for me. If you want luxury then you need to upgrade on spec and cost - this is ideal for one or two nights. Staff are friendly and helpful , breakfast at €9 is not overly expensive as you can have as much as you like. It was worth the money and the bed was comfortable "

"The room smelled a little of cigarette smoke, which may have drifted in from the open window before we’d arrived quite late, or had come from a previous visitor. There was a used plaster on the floor - cleaning not great. The bed is very comfortable but, as always in B&B, just one thin pillow each. "

"We were there for the world rowing masters regatta and the Ibis looked after all of us very well."

"We received our room outside hand soap and towels. We didn’t had hand towels or face towels we were 4 and didn’t have enough towels. I told the person at the reception and he told us I will being it to your room. But we when to visit and when we got back the person was gone and no soap or towels. "

"Decent stay, and quite a few options for continental breakfast, waffles, pain au chocolats, cakes, etc. The only annoying thing is that checkout is at 2 pm, so I had to walk around Bordeaux for ages cuz I had got there at 11. Very ealkable to city centre, really close to the tram stop and bus stop and a Carefour right across the street in case you need to grab something."

"Inside the rooms have been recently renovated. That was the only good thing at this hotel. Room was extremely small. They put us outside the patio tables, which at first seemed ok, until 11pm when I of several hotel rooms got loud with yelling, party goes coming and going. Than they spent several hours outside on the patio. Doors slamming and women screaming. This went on until 7am, when we finally said enough and got Ipacked and left..less than 2hrs sleep of and on. Worse hotel booking...

"A clean, modem and spacious apartment in the university area of Bordeaux. Friendly staff who spoke good English. Parking easy and free. Lots of restaurants nearby. Direct team to city centre."

"I liked he restaurant selections on the boardwalk, and the closeness to the Cite du Vin museum.. I didn’t like my bed, which was supposed to be a queen, but instead was 2 twins pushed together.. the sheets didn’t fit properly & I woke up each morning sleeping on the bare mattress, as the fitted sheet kept slipping off. I didn’t like my room window facing the inside grass area at ground level, I had no view and didn’t want to open the curtains to be in plain view of others. The reception people...
