"Annual deer camp. Really neat camp. Slept 4 and 5 of us really well. Very impressed by how well stocked the house was with things like linens, paper products and kitchen supplies.The only trouble is access. Its built into a hillside so all entries are stairs. We had snow, which we look forward too but outside entries iced up leaving the interior garage stairs. The stairs inside the garage are narrow and steep. "We made a last minute reservation and, since it was off season, we’re the only ones staying at the Inn. They were very friendly and did everything they could to make us feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Inn by the River."

"Our stay was lovely. It accommodated 9 of us very nicely. It was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of space. The owner was very responsive; always responded quickly. We could ride the ATV trails right from the cabin, which is always something we prefer. We were, also, very close to downtown Greenville and not far from Rockwood. We were able to shop and dine along the waterfront, which was also something we love to do. "Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. "
