"Big Horse Inn is a hidden gem in this part of Illinois. It is perfectly located, close to Dickson Mounds (great hiking trails), Emiquon National Wildlife Refuge, and the Illinois/Spoon River area. "problem with room I requested but manager solved the problem in good manner. Advertised as having free breakfast - DID NOT OFFER BREAKFAST room clean and nice but I did find a bug crawling the wall"

"Low cost room. The bed was comfortable. The TV, fridge and microwave all worked. Hot shower. The room was a little too warm the first night, but comfortable the next. I like the room cool at night. Just my preference. For the price, I would return."
