"This property is 400 years old, it's very old fashioned. We had a 3 night stay at the Copper Kettle and we absolutely loved it! The room was very comfortable, although a little frayed here & there. Shower was great, breakfast each morning was great. We also took advantage of the 3 course meal one evening (available to guests only) & for the money was great value. "The property was very clean and well proportioned with a large clean bathroom. We were on the ground floor and could hear the guests upbove us talking and walking about which was annoying. A fan was supplied but the room was very warm through the night. I would recommend Chequers Lodge but would suggest requesting a room on the first floor. "

"Overall this property is excellent. Mattress for me a alittle soft but got used to it after a couple of days. Staff are excellent,helpful and cant do enough to be of service. Although they dont do breakfast as a option there's a excellent food wagon on their rear car park that does excellent breakfast and lunch options. Will definitely stay again in the near future "

"It was our first overnight stay here and we were pleasantly pleased how conveniently located it was to the centre. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, a very comfortable double bed which was spotlessly clean and fresh and everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Car parking is directly opposite. "

"Extremely difficult and confusing to check in and out. Lots of different codes for doors, and very confusing regarding key safe. Little to no mention about the actual details regarding sharing a flat, other guests were extremely noisy, particularly very early in the morning Property, not in the best of conditions, with bathroom doors, not locking, which is extremely disconcerting for a shared flat. The facilities were not good, poor lighting, the whole place needed a lot of renovation...

"Great place to stay for a break, the caravan layout was ideal and the kitchen had all the facilities needed to cook meals etc., Having a shower/toilet and a separate toilet makes this property ideal for families. Cleanliness was of a very good standard and quality bedding provided. The location was quiet but within a few miles of towns and local pubs and eateries if you wanted to go off site. I would stay again."
