We had an enjoyable three night stay here. A nice location for exploring the South Lakes and beyond. The staff here go over and above to make you feel welcme and there is always service with a smile. Also, the food at this hotel is amazing and beautifully presented.

Outstanding staff and food

The Lady on Reception and Breakfast duties was amazing and so welcoming to all the guests , it was a little further away from the town as stated but I am so glad I stayed there , the breakfast was fantastic!!!

Very nice

Lovely stay, lovely staff. A shame about the renovation work but i guess it has to be done. Room was nice but the duvet seemed to be too small for bed. Evening meal and breakfast were of exceptional quality.

Our room was clean and comfortable, nicely decorated. The restaurant/breakfast area also clean and tastefully decorated. A large variety of choice for breakfast. Very friendly staff and helpful. Would recommend this reasonably priced hotel to friends or family.

Really enjoyable. Great staff, make you feel at home, and very helpful. Super building and great facilities. Really enjoyed our stay and will recommend it for anyone heading near Kendal. The restaurant chef was really good, some of our best food of the trip.
