"We really liked the individual nature of the Deer Valley Lodge - the decorating with antlers, the cabin-like furniture, it's a refreshing change from chain hotels. The room was clean, comfortable and the views from the hotel are just lovely. The breakfast is pretty minimal but we were glad to have it. And we liked the country location a lot."

"If all you're looking for is a good clean place to stay, this Super 8 is alright. Bed is a bit lacking but for a few nights it was comfortable enough. The furniture is servicable but definitely been bumped around. I definately just need a place to sleep, not to impress and this place was just fine. Nice and quiet too. No loud street traffic. "Although the place looks pretty ordinary from the outside, it has a Frank Lloyd Wright vibe, which is carried out in the rooms. Nothing fancy but the clean and simple lines are pleasing to the eye. Comfortable beds, nicely updated bathroom. Great location for theater nights. "

A Clean, older motel, (shabby chic , still nice)
"If all you're looking for is a good clean place to stay, this Super 8 is alright. Bed is a bit lacking but for a few nights it was comfortable enough. The furniture is servicable but definitely been bumped around. I definately just need a place to sleep, not to impress and this place was just fine. Nice and quiet too. No loud street traffic. The shower was great, good water pressure, nice shower head. Cant tell you about the pillows, I bring my own. A/C worked good. Nice cafe to eat at , easy to walk to, on the corner. Jacuzzi was closed first few days, but did open . We did enjoy it. We didnt use the fitness room, nor did we have their breakfast. Desk clerk, Marsha offered suggestions on local dining, which was really nice and we did enjoy eating at : Bobs Bitchin BBQ, Dino's Bar & Grill, Ope Haus in Barneveld, and the Cafe on the corner from the motel. "
