"This is a very nice place close to Sigiriya rock. The owner, Dinesh, went out of his way to make sure everything was great. We had dinner there which was a delicious assortment of home made curry. The breakfast was also fresh and delicious. We stayed in the room with A/C which was nice after coming back hot from a long climb. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. "

"Really nice stay. Very close to restaurants nearby and had a very nice breakfast. The staff were very friendly and organised a cultural show for us. There was plenty of parking and the room was very clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again."

"The family that runs this homestay is so incredibly sweet. They don't speak much English, but that's okay. We got by! Danu called me on the phone upon check-in to make sure everything was to my liking. The street it's on is a very local one so there isn't much around, but I had a driver so it was perfectly fine. If you were to walk, I think it would have probably taken 15 or so minutes to the rock along a scenic road :) Danu's mother cooked me the best chicken curry I've ever had! So tasty!!...

"Perfect location when visiting Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. I stayed a few days, so after Sigiriya rock they recommend other locations I could visit and which buses to get. The food for dinner was amazing and such huge portions!!! 😅 The room was great, good ac, and a mosquito net over the comfy bed. "

Mother is a really good cook and I had the best vegetable roll and potato and egg samosa i have tried anywhere. The host made us so welcome and helped us with everything. "Staff was excellent. She made special vegetarian food for me. Lot of greenery. Room is ok not that great. Too many insects because of bushes and trees all around the property. Gieco running on the floor of the room. Had to go to the front desk every time for service. No phone/TV in the room. No light switch above the bed. Had to go to the front door to turn off lights and walk in the dark to the bed. Not convenient at all."

"The name of the hotel was not correct. We spend more than 1 hour to find the right place. They clean our clothes for a fee and the clothes next day was wet. We paid through hotels.com and they didn't believe that we already paid the night... The place was not clean and smell strange. I didn't recommended ."

"I stayed here 10 years ago and it was wonderful. The “bones” are great but “cracks” are appearing. The rooms are generous and the property and vistas are beautiful. The property, rooms and facilities are beginning to look a little tired and the staff are struggling. The swimming pool and spa are a long way away but there used to be buggies to pick you up especially during the heat of the day. Phones not working so room service was difficult. There was a ridiculously high corkage charge on some...
