"Hotel is great. They charged us by mistake when we checked in. Realized their error and upgraded us to a villa as an apology. Rooms, hotel grounds, restaurant and service of staff are all top notch. "

Rooms are dusty, breakfast tables not wiped, every step you will see sth broken. But that is a picture we whitness nowadays in most previously highly rated hotels. Due to Covid and lock down there was no money to maintain the hotels. The humidity in sri lanka quickly destroys materials so they need constant maintenance."
