"So, we finally had the so-called "can't see your booking" experience, thanks to Great Wall Days Hotel! When we got in, tired of travel, all we needed was a room to rest, except we were welcomed by staff who seemed not to know anything about Hotels.com and bookings by that.. "We arrived at the JinJiang Inn at 8pm on the 9th of September. 3/4 of our party were not Chinese nationals. We proceeded to wait for 3 hours while the hotel checked with their local neighbourhood committee whether or not we would be permitted to stay. Ultimately we were not allowed to stay, at which point i contacted hotel.com Gold Team and they informed me they could not find nearby accomodation, despite options being available on the hotels.com app. The decision of the Jinjiang inn not to...
