"Hotel was very conveniently located right beside a subway station. It was also a 15 min walk away from other areas of interest such as Tenjin, Canal City, and a small seafood market. There are also two grocery stores less than a five min walk away, a Family Mart, and a 7-11. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. Although the hotel is older, it is very well maintained. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would stay here again!"

"We’ve stayed at many various hotels in Japan and have never come across a hotel where the staff have been as unhelpful and dismissive as the ones at Tokyu Stay Hakata. From the front desk staff to some of the restaurant staff. Linh at the front desk was particularly unhelpful. A female staff member who made our drinks at the restaurant was lovely and very friendly. Hotel itself was basic, somewhat clean (the elevators were dirty, bathrooms need more thorough cleaning), comfortable beds, location was a 10-15 minute walk from Hakata station. The in room washer and dryer were great. They’ll only do a full clean of your room once every 7 days, you can pay extra for room cleaning/bed changing if needed."

"The main come on was the free flowing draft beer, iced coffee, nuts dried fruits and chocolates at the lobby. The main drawback was the lack of housekeeping staff for the duration of the stay. Guests are required to bring out their trash although towels and toilet papers can be easily replaced at the counter when needed. For 300Usd a night it sure is nice to have a room cleaning service."
