"Not clean at all. Door to balcony only held closed by a chain, which was broken, so not secure either. Wouldn’t stay again."

"The benches are excellent for bbq"

"Clean room"

"Was water damage to the walls and ceiling in the bedroom and bathroom. Stains on the sheets. Water heater outside my room was SO loud whenever anybody was using any water. Half the lights didn’t work. Only upsides were the mirror, microwave and mini fridge to put our food in."

"Good value budget rooms. Room was adjacent to the pub which is handy for meals, drinks etc (but be aware of the noise if you want to get to sleep early). Plenty of parking at rear. Overall, amenities basic but good value considering cost."

"The place its self is lovely, as is the food. We booked to extend our stay and were told they were fully booked and it would not be refunded as they don’t deal with WOTIF even though the booking had been placed via the app. The manager was extremely rude and didn’t even offer to look at the booking confirmation and payment we had taken from our account."

"No stove to cook."

"Amazing people amazing place. Will be back next year"

"Good bones and a very accommodating young staff group working in the bar and handling room allocations. The rooms are very rundown and barely cleaned. Thankfully, clean sheets with no mattress protector or towels in the room. The TV had been smashed, so only a cracked screen image was available. Finally, the ladies' toilet and the shower hadn't been cleaned for a long time; they were filthy and smelt of mould. All in all, it's one of the worst places we have stayed. They need to get a cleaner!...

"The hotel was a great stay for a few days, the owner Chris is a nice guy and very accommodating. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy."

"This a beautiful near new home that was comfortable and well appointed. The house is close to the main town but as it’s in the main road it was very noisy during the night and early morning"

"Great boutique hotel, spacious rooms and close to pubs and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"Staff are very nice. The place is very old. Mozzy abd no wifi. Food though is excellent."

"I had a lovely chalet, I was upgraded from a studio to a 2 bed chalet and it couldn't have been better. Great kitchette facilities, lovely bathrooms and a view of the lake. The complex is within easy walking distance of Hunter Valley Hardens, the cheese factory and a couple of wineries. A perfect stay 😊"
