"The staff was amazing they went above and beyond !the location of the hotel is great. That said the hotel is definitely just a two star , the mattresses could use an uplift and the walls were so thin we heard every single neighbor come home throughout the night."

"The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The room was filthy from the start. No one came to clean our room during our stay so we had to go and request new towels and buy toilet roll. The mattress had a mysterious looking pee stain which was quickly uncovered as our bed sheet on our double bed was actually two single sheets placed horizontally (which is very uncomfortable and moves during the night). The duvet covers also had some mysterious stains on them, and the whole place smelt...

"No communication on where to go for check in. Even phoned ahead, they didn't tell me the reception was in a different building or where to go to pick up the keys. No tea towel to dry pots, only 3 plates but was apartment for four Couldn't get access to ski locker... Looked too small for the building"

"The Hotel is at a brilliant location for ski in/out! The room was simple but functional- everything worked fine apart from the heating ( underfloor and not to regulate for us) which was too warm! There is a good skiroom with lockers! The breakfast and dinners were very good with plenty of choices for starters/ salad/ soup/ great choices for mains and cheese and wine ob tap! As the skipass was also included a really good value for money! The staff is also very nice and helpful! We will be back!"

"They say free parking, but then they charge you for parking. They say free internet, but there is no internet. They charge you extra fees when you arrive and when you leave. Don't stay there."

"An extraordinary stop over. Although we read reviews we were not quite prepared for the ascent to the top of a 1700 m mountain ! However it was worth the climb and is not to be missed. A quite hamlet, wonderful for a retreat,walking or just a stop over. The owner was helpful and pleasant, full of information and stories!"

"Hotel Arolla is about a 5 minute walk from the funicular and rail station, and a minute from the old town. I cannot praise the owners enough for the kindness, hospitality and generosity they showed us when we stayed with them just as France went into 'containment' for the covid19 virus. "Great place in the mountains. Owner did not speak any English but was able to communicate enough. Rooms were just like the pictures with large bathroom and comfortable. Finally got back into Italy where they have you share the blanket, much more romantic than separate ones as the rest of Europe has. The "made to order breakfast", however was just made to order coffee and then bread, butter, juice and croissant. Still good but not solid for skiing. Definitely recommend it again."
