"Great access to mountain, it was a great bonus that the cable car goes every 20 minutes 8:30am- 23:30 pm. So if you need to get into town for sightseeing or dinner, it’s not a problem. There were several parking options. I was able to find street parking for free. One major negative was you have to walk in the snow about 300 m to the hotel from where the gondola dropped you off- there’s no paved or stable area. I think they can pick you up with a skimobile but I wasn’t sure how to arrange...

"Beautiful, atmospheric (though well maintained) old building. One of the doors inside is bullet into an impressive stone arch with the Savoie crest carved into it. It once marked the boarder between Savoy and the rest of Italy, so that gives an idea of how old the original structure is My room was comfortable and had a balcony affording a lovely view of time-honoured stone-tiled roofs and the mountains beyond . "Ottimi appartamenti a Dolonne, a 15 min a piedi dal centro di Courmayeur. Struttura nuovissima (durante il soggiorno stavano ancora effettuando dei lavori ai piani sotterranei, credo per SPA/palestra). Camera dotata di tutti i comfort. Comodo il bar interno, buoni i cocktail e le bevande. Da migliorare il cibo."

"My daughter & I enjoyed the clean room & plentiful self serve breakfast! We were hiking the TMB which they knew nothing about ( or there was a language barrier), so don’t expect any answers re: the trail or luggage transfers. There were many farm animals and dogs around, so you have to be comfortable with seeing dogs playing around and even pigs in the lobby!"
