"Great access to mountain, it was a great bonus that the cable car goes every 20 minutes 8:30am- 23:30 pm. So if you need to get into town for sightseeing or dinner, it’s not a problem. There were several parking options. I was able to find street parking for free. One major negative was you have to walk in the snow about 300 m to the hotel from where the gondola dropped you off- there’s no paved or stable area. "Lovely apart hotel in Dolonne, a quiet location. The rooms are excellent, spotless and so very comfy. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Only a couple of negatives, one is the ongoing works which means workmen start at 8am (on one day it was 7) and continue through to usually 5pm but one night it was 8pm. "We had the family room and it was PERFECT for our family of 5 with connecting rooms. The restaurant and bar and lounge areas were quite special with live piano player."

"My daughter & I enjoyed the clean room & plentiful self serve breakfast! We were hiking the TMB which they knew nothing about ( or there was a language barrier), so don’t expect any answers re: the trail or luggage transfers. There were many farm animals and dogs around, so you have to be comfortable with seeing dogs playing around and even pigs in the lobby!"
