One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, beautiful wood and stone work everywhere, incredibly picturesque. The spa and pool areas were gorgeous and the staff was impeccably helpful. We honestly had a tough time leaving, to the point that we considered booking an additional night and staying even though we had already prepaid for a room at another hotel further along in our travels - it was that good. Highly recommended.

Easy check in. Room very clean, simple, clean linen, well taken care of room, welcoming. Breakfast was great, fresh bread each morning. Wish they had given us box of Kleenex, rather than having to use toilet paper to blow your nose. Refrigerator good size, could have been colder. Otherwise, great place to stay!!

Our expectations were set for a three star experience. The staff, the warmth of this well run family establishment surpassed our expectations. No dining other than a nice breakfast in the morning. But excellent place to head off to ski for the day and walk to city restaurants in the evening. They also had a Tesla charger we benefitted from.

All was great. Nicest family owned B&B, great personalized service and attention to details. Stay was awesome.

We had a great stay at this new hotel. The room was very nice and comfortable the bathroom also was big and with a separate shower. The view was amazing. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was very good and the indoor swimming pool was very nice. Very close to the Courmayeur shopping centre. Close to a lovely park!

The front desk staff were so sweet and helpful. We do not speak French, and had an emergency where we needed two different taxis going different directions, we had no idea where to even start. She just picked up the phone and started calling for us and found each of us one right away. This is my 3rd time staying at Hotel Heliopic. There is simply no other hotel I would choose in Chamonix. As far as value, Heliopic should be deemed a 6 star hotel. Between the fabulous, helpful, patient, informative, and accommodating staff, and the numerous little complimentary touches and amenities in the hotel, I consider Heliopic one of my favorite hotels to stay at in the world. Amazing, large, and clean spa, Michelin restaurant on site and now a new cheese restaurant, lovely lounge area...

We enjoyed our stay here! The room was clean, breakfast was great, and the staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. I especially appreciated them drying out our mountaineering boots after they got wet during an unexpected river crossing (since the Freney / Brouillard bridges had been removed for the season while we were on the Monzino via ferrata).

Unless you're one of those death seekers who enjoy hurling themselves off Chamonix's Alps in all manner of contraptions, this really is the best place to stay. It's less than five minutes' walk from the Aiguille du Midi gondola station and ten minutes' walk to the Mer de Glace railway station. A gigantic parking lot is two minutes' walk from the hotel. The heart of the town itself, however, is - thankfully- roughly ten minutes' walk from the hotel. I say, "Thankfully" because Chamonix itself...

Beautiful mountain setting. Cozy room. Wi-fi free. Delicious breakfast extra. Super friendly and helpful staff. Within 5 minute walk to Flégère lift. Nearby bus stop will take you to the center of town which is about 3 miles.. Too far to walk, so know when busses run. Ski pass will allow free access to transportation. Missed getting to visit L'Aiguille du Midi due to cloud cover. It is supposed to be spectacular. Has a jacuzzi, but didn't use. Looked nice
