"We used this place as a base for our visiting many different places around the area each day. Very close to Onekama and Arcadia where we did a lot of hiking. The breakfast discount at Lakeside Cafe in Bear Lake was used every morning. We were in room 112 and unfortunately the dead bolt did not line up properly with the door; therefore we were not able to secure our door with that extra safety precaution."

"Although the property appears to be older, it was clean and the staff was friendly. There was a small breakfast included (cereal, bagels pastries and yogurt) and drinks. It was the perfect pit stop for a single night. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were extremely responsive. The home was perfect for our family of four. We brought our pontoon, the dock was perfect to tie up to (no cleats or bumpers) and there was plenty of room for our trailer and car at the house. This home is on Lake Mitchell but you can also enjoy Lake Cadillac via the canal. The home does not have central air it has window air conditioning units.
