"Room was great! Bed was very comfortable and shower had good water pressure. However, toilet didn't flush, breakfast made me nauseous and when asked to help boom the boat to koh phangan they charged me twice the price (550 baht) I would have paid to just book it with the ferry company (320 baht)"

Beach bar, if open only has basically beer or soft drinks. But you will need own transport to get here. Which is why main trade seems to be Thai. "

"I'm very tolerant of ratty old hotels but this crossed some lines for me. The first room I was placed in was covered on cobwebs and holes in the ceiling tiles and walls. Ontop of that there was no running water. The family was helpful trying to fix it but eventually moved me to a different room. This one stunk horrendously of sewage. I refused to stay in it so they moved me to a 3rd and it had black mold in the corner on the ceiling and wall. It was late so I dealt with it at possible detriment...

There is not much in the area and we had a hard time finding anything to eat after our arrival in the early evening. 7-11 was about the only thing open. There was supposed to be a Tesco nearby but we could not locate it. Breakfast was not great."
