"We went to Canalview for a girls trip. Check in was easy, room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were very pleasant anf assisted with everything. "Despite reviews citing thin walls, we did not experience that. Yes, you can hear other guests, but only if they were talking loud or coughing, etc. The stairs are steep, and the steps are narrow. There's no elevator, but that's part of its charm. Nice room, with a good mattress, instant hot water, nice shower (the height adjustment was missing, but not an issue for me). One of the two large windows opened fully, allowing us to get chill night air while we slept. Not much of a view, but we didn't...
