"Fabulous location. Was a bit dubious at first as it is located in the student halls of the university but as soon as we opened the door to the room we were very pleasantly surprised and impressed. Great for close proximity to all the sights and in the evening the nightlife of Cork is just a 4 minute walk away. Would definitely come back as there are still some unfinished sights and sounds to be had. "

"I didn't realize this was a student dorm facility that apparently they rent out during the summer months. No air conditioning in the room and it was quite warm in there. Not much in the area in regard to dinning or anything else. Lots of students around being loud at night. Check-in was interesting because it's not like a regular hotel. "There were several small problems from the outset. Oner said key would be on kitchen table but it wasn't. Owner seemed to not believe me and had to see for himself. Place was not especially clean and oven was older than owner, dirty, and didn't work for me. Washing machine was new and worked well. Needs new oven and upgraded patio area before it will be worth what owner is charging."

"The initial check-in was very welcoming. The space was clean, airy, and a wonderful welcome gift was waiting for us in the kitchen. Very thoughtful. Our kids loved having their own rooms. The home is very spacious and allowed a family of five great opportunities to gather as well as get some time alone. We loved it!"

"Highly recommend. Great little prefab cabin. All as advertised. 30 min. to Cork or Wsterford. Excellent for a weekend or a week. Studio size w bedroom, en suite, kitchen/dining/living combo. Private outdoor area. Cormac was a friendly host. Quick drive or short walk to beach. Ballymaloe Culinary School w. Farm and Gardens less than 10 mins drive. Nice pub in village - the Goalpost. Finer hotel w. dining and bar near the beach and a number of good resturants across the bay. "

"The room was simple, but had everything: a double bed, wardrobe, desk, a chair, severla outlets to use, heating and even a mirror on the wall. The condition of the room was excellent, heating works very well, and the reception staff were very helpful and responsive. The appartements come with a kitchen (shared), with plenty of fridge space, tea and coffee and a big table."
