"We had the most amazing time here, from the minute we landed at the airport everything was perfect. Daniel and his family are wonderful people and organised everything we needed, transport from/to airport, tours and food. The location is truly authentic in a village and you could see the volcanos glow from our room."

"The fatal flaw was that the actual location of the treehouse was different from the map on Expedia. This resulted in more travel than necessary. Also, there was no wifi and the shower was broken. The staff were wonderful."

"Lovely view of the volcano from the bed, watching the plume puffs during the day and the glow at night, as well as hearing the rumbling. Quite isolated, but the hosts provide all the transport you need, for a fee, which ended up being about twice the cost of the accommodation booked online, including to and from the airport. Totally reasonable all told, but good to know ahead of time. "

It is perfect for adventurous travellers wanting more than western-style accommodation with the odd hibiscus flower… this is true Ni-Van lifestyle immersion, right under an active volcano, in the midst of authentic villages, with people who will move literal mountains to make your stay memorable. And memorable it will be! Not suitable for elderly or very young travellers die to height of the treehouse, but adventurers unite! This place is all heart and soul, and hosts Philip and Suzanne are the beating pulse connecting it all. We arrived as strangers but we left as family. Highly recommended. "
