Firstly took over an hour to access as there’s no staff on site despite claims there is staff.
Smashed tv with broken glass,kettle didn’t work and kept switching off,no smoke alarm,huge crack in the outside pane of the window,hole in the bathroom door, the room was beyond freezing,shower didn’t work,uncomfortable bed full of springs,pillows paper thin,and no proper duvet just a paper thin shiny sheet.

"A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first.

"A very quiet and secluded lodge, equipped with everything you could need for a stay. It is a proper home from home.
The owner, Juliet, met us on arrival and made sure everything was ok and even left us some welcome gifts. We only had a very brief 2-night stay but using this lodge as our base was perfect. I have only marked down the comfort by 1 star as the mattress was a little firmer than we like - but obviously this is just a personal preference and should not detract from the overall stay at...
"Lovely Rustic Charm, great next to the Broad, freedom to come & go -totally idyllic for me. Quiet, peaceful and commutable to local town, train station. Relaxing and would love to return. Basic but suitable cooking facilities, hot water, good shower, comfortable accommodation. "
