"This is one of those places that fills a need for accommodation in between destinations. For the price it is quite good - clean and quiet - but nothing fancy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The town doesn't really have anything but it is conveniently located between Almeria and Motril."

"Fantastic Stay. I decided to book this place to stay during my trip to summit Mount Mulhacen and it was just what I was looking for. The place was very lovely, with a rooftop sitting area that provided a beautiful view of Capileira as well as the Poqueira valley below. The room itself was quite cozy, and while there was no air conditioning, the temperature was adequate enough for sleeping conditions. "The property is very basic, but clean. It is in a noisy location where there is a lot of noise from the street late at night. In the room you can hear every time someone else in the hotel flushes the toilet or walks around throughout the night, endless noise and we didn’t sleep very much. Having said all that, it was only £37 a night! What do you expect for that price. Overall it served a purpose for 1 night, but we would not return."

"This is a wonderful place to stay in the Alpuharra. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and incredible views. The couple who runs it are sweet and kind and considerate. We had dinner and breakfast there which was delicious with all fresh local fare. The property has a nice pool overlooking the mountains. There is a 10 min trail down to the town which has good restaurants and lovely shops. Highly recommended! "

" Located well with really good views, we were given the mulhacen apartment which was at the top of the building so a few flights of stairs but so worth it.lovely 2 bedroom apartment with lounge and kitchen which was well equipped,lovely tereace outside to take in the ...views. Accessto building is close to a garage repair business but we could not hear anything so no worries. Short walk down the hill to the town and opposite is a great park which is handy as we have a dog. So manywalking...

"Simple hotel on the edge of Orgiva. Recommend top floor rooms with a large terrace and a balcony to enjoy the view over the surrounding mountains. Room was large, spotlessly clean and with a great bathroom. Would have appreciated a hairdryer, modern pillows and better soap and towels but all in all it was great value"

"Good hotel with wonderful views from the balcony over the sea. Unfortunately nobody in the hotel spoke any English, the elevator was out of order and the breakfast in the morning for Euro 4.50 had a monetary value of less than 1 Euro. "

Pues tienes que circular por una calle de unos 300-400 metros de doble circulacion por donde pasa uno solo y casi rozando las fachadas de las casas. Si tienes la mala suerte de encontrar otro coche en dirección contraria, uno tiene que circular marcha atrás por una calle muy, muy justa para el ancho de un coche normal."

De plus, j'aurai pu me faire très mal car une chaise s'est brisé sous mon poid. Et pour finir, il n'y a pas de réception, on a certe un numéro de téléphone, mais on a pas toujours de réponse."

"Ideal location for shops and restaurants. The staff were very nice. The hotel is clean but dated bathroom and furniture. The pool was closed whilst we were there due to the time of year. The patio area is nice to sit and enjoy a drink. Very reasonable price and would stay again"
