"Sixth stay over recent months. Breakfast is continental and is very good. No full restaurant in hotel. Staff are non- resident but live nearby. Offer clean, well kept facilities, trimmed down to necessities; eg no phones in rooms etc. free Wi-Fi is effective. "

"The owner met us with a big smile and handed us our room key. The room was perfect. His dining room offered up the best dinner in town Breakfast was included with our room and he provided everyone with extra fresh buns meat and cheese along with paperbags to enjoy during our long day of hiking. He also gave us tips on the Rheinsteig. "

"Fantastic location, what a lovely town. The host was lovely and very friendly. The place is old but what does one expect in an old town. Yes there are stairs, but not an inconvenience. Yes it's right next to railway, but didn't bother me. There are window shutters you can close (, a previous review complained about the bright room🤔). Iverall I enjoyed my stay,safe,secure,clean,spacious room and bed was comfy. What more can one ask?"
