"We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to...

"Our entire experience was just great - from booking to check out, everything went smoothly and all of our questions were answered quickly and clearly. The place was perfect for us as the destination for our family’s annual Christmas weekend. We even got snow, which added to the beauty of our visit. We are already considering a summer return. "The entire house is beautiful, neat and clean with everything you need. The master bedrooms are all spacious with nice bathrooms. There is plenty of comfortable room indoors and out for a large group, a second spacious fridge in the kitchen and beverage fridges available to stock up for a group. We went during a cold and mostly rainy week but were there for downtime and enjoyed the movie theater room, indoor pool and great layout of the home. Would definitely stay again! "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Magic Teacup! We loved the fire and the hot tub. The house was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully set up. Location was the best part...easy access to Dolly Sods hiking, which was on our agenda for this trip; we saw a couple of amazing beaver dams while hiking. The house is also super close to the Timberline ski slopes. It wasn’t ski season during our visit, but being so close to the lifts makes us want to come back once the snow starts falling. "We had a great stay! We chose this cabin to help us escape from our busy life. The home is beautiful, designed with such care and unique finishes. The kitchen is well stocked with high quality cookware and appliances (there was even a large assortment of coffees, spices, sweeteners), the outdoor space is incredible, and the setting is gorgeous. We enjoyed watching squirrels and birds play in the oak trees throughout the property. Brett was an excellent host, he was great at communicating with us...
