"This home in the Timbers had good access to Windrow trail (3’ walk in ski boots). Home was clean and well stocked and pictures are accurate. Bedrooms are cozy and living spaces comfortable. Host Ryan was excellent with timely communication and support. While a major storm impacted our check-in, he made us whole with a generous compensation"

We wish we could have spent more time exploring the area, but we were there for a wedding weekend and too busy to just enjoy the views. But it was close to Sugarloaf and would have been a great place to land after a day of hiking. The house was well-stocked and I can’t say enough good things about Alaina, the owner who was our contact. She made sure that we knew how to contact her if we needed anything and her response...

"We had a wonderful stay at the house! It was perfect for the family and my 78 year old mom who stayed in the downstairs bedroom. She sat on the back porch every morning to eat her breakfast watching for wildlife. She saw turkeys but no deer. I would stay here again and hope that we spend time in Maine again soon."

"Lovely little cabin on a lake. No frills just quiet! Bed very comfortable. Hot water in shower. Dishes and accessories all provided. Only additions could be a coffee maker. French press was there but I was looking for a regular drip pot. Some better assortment of games might be nice too. Playing Clue with only 2 people is a little pointless!! 😂😂😂 Country Deli on the corner was great for coffee and sandwiches. Less than a mile up the road. "

The kitchen was well stocked with the usual, but also contained extras like spices and oils.Having just two of us, my friend took the first floor master bedroom/bathroom while I took the second floor that contained two bedrooms and a bathroom. I started off on the softer mattress in one bedroom, but after one night's sleep it was a bit too soft for me. I switched to the other room with two beds, both very firm memory foam....
