"LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Excellent views and ocean air. A real treat you won't want to leave. It is shameless that the elevator is still not fixed- perhaps the ADA needs to be notified. I saw a woman sheltering from the wind in a wheelchair that had been waiting for a room for "more than two hours". She had to wait for a room on the first floor because the elevator was not working. "Cannon Beach is indeed a very special place. This hotel is beautiful. They maintain the building and grounds well and the beach is spotless. The building has a nice variety of rooms and the pool/ hot tub are great. I will warn you if you drive an EV, the Blink supplied chargers are nonsense. $1/hr for the first hour then $4/hr after that....Safe to say I had an expensive charge when I woke up the next morning. Other than the Blink charger turn off, loved the place."

"Great water pressure in the shower! Easy walk to the marina where we had our boat. Easy walk to the nearby bistro for dinner. Front desk staff were very accommodating to help us navigate adding a day to our stay, whereas Hotels.com wanted to charge us a cancellation fee to "change" our reservation. Ridiculous! Whoever heard of charging a client extra to add a day. "

"the hotel view was absolutely jaw dropping every single time we would look at it. We got an oceanfront view which was expensive, but soooo worth every penny once you see the coast out your window! Definitely will stay here again."

"Staff was friendly, room was mostly clean, found apple stem laying on the half wall. Needs some updating, curtain lining is coming off, no screen on the window. A musty smell to the whole place. No air conditioning, though there was a ceiling fan. Parking is limited and a little tight to maneuver in. "

"Astoria crest Hotel is a well kept secret. The view is absolutely stunning. The room is definitely no-frills stay but you have everything you need a microwave a mini fridge a bed and a bath. Most of the rooms have a beautiful view of the river as well. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. We had a nice swim and a satisfying breakfast--highlights were the Yami yogurt cups and the Golden Malted waffles. Also liked the saltwater taffy and cool, ocean-themed wallpaper in the large, comfy lobby. We'd visit again. It was a particularly good value with the shoulder-season rates."
