The use of disposable plates, cups, cutlery etc gives the feeling of camping rather than a hotel stay however this appears to be common practice in the US unfortunately."

"This is more like a motel that is clean, good condition and used mostly by tourists to Acadia. It has a nice small pool (area) which is nice to relax. They don’t have breakfast but offer morning drinks, cereals and muffins. It is a bit far from Bar Harbor with no transportation to town. (Bus to town would be nice since there is no free parking in Bar harbor. It is a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. "

"He scared me when we drove up the rooms need a lot of work, but on the good note, I felt very safe and it was extremely clean although it looks to be filled in the 50s and probably not remodeled since then. The beds are very hard, but overall definitely beats the $600 rims right down the street for a one or two night stay!"

"Hotel is easily walkable to the waterfront, restaurants and shops. It's on a busy street but has parking in the rear and was still quiet at night. While the building itself is older, the room was nicely updated, clean and had what we needed. Front lobby offers some nice free juices, chocolates, snacks, etc."
