"Overall this is a decent little hotel. There's coffee in the lobby in the morning and an iHop next door. There's also a coffee maker in the room as well as a fridge. No microwave unfortunately. We were skeptical how clean the room was, we found a fair amount of items on the floor/just under the beds and the shower had hair in it that was not ours. Our balcony also did not have chairs and a table and all of the other ones was saw did, we figured this might have been because we were in a back...

"Nice cheaper hotel for Santa Cruz. Needs to be updated. Couple of staff aren't friendly or helpful. Housekeeping knocked on door early. Shower drain spout haf pink ring on it and toilet paper flakes on toilet paper holder like it wasn't dusted at all. They did housekeeping while we were gone and did a good job. Breakfast was okay. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, cinnamon rolls, muffins, juices, milk, coffee and etc. "

"The property is conveniently located. It’s a bit noisy being so close to the road. The shades are broken so it let some of the light in at night. Overall not a bad place to stay. "

"Staff is always so friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Its a Great location. Between downtown and the boardwalk/wharf. Can easily walk to either direction (although we usually take our bikes). Theres a great little cafe market right across the street. Its cash only, but the food is good. "

"It is next to a train and bus transportation hub, and I use public transportation all the time. I also love the sound of big trains. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE TRAINS, DONT STAY HERE! They run all night and day and are loud, so be mindfull if you have a skittish pet. It is clean and we'll kept and ni bugs. "

"The property was very quiet and the check in/check out process was very quick. The rooms were mostly clean but the shower head could be wiped down a bit better. At one point I think they had an equipment issue as a few people got locked out of their room while we went to get breakfast in the morning but out was solved quickly enough by going to the lobby. Overall a good stay though. "
