"This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve stayed at globally. It was so quaint and authentic. The setting was beautiful, at the end of the road made it quiet with trees and plants around to seclude. At the very end it overlooked the river and the pool was perfectly positioned. The restaurant is open all day and had a very extensive menu of Thai and Western foods at very reasonable prices. We ate here at every meal. "So, after having such nice welcomes.everywhere I've ever been in Thailand, here was a bit of a shock. There is no real welcome and interaction comes across at best nonplussed, at worst rude. But if you come prepared for that and you have a room on the raft, they are lovely and are good value for the price. Once you get over the lack of interaction with anyone.... It's great! The view from the river are really lovely to wake up to."

"Kaew (the lady that ran the hotel) was an absolute gem. She gave a great personal service, was extremely helpful and a delight to chat to every day. Value for money was very good. We felt like part of the family. Breakfast was made whenever was convenient for us. Self-service hot or cold coffee, chocolate and tea was available 24/7. We even got a free lift to and from the station."

"This small resort was a very relaxing 1 night stay, the place is as per the pictures, beautiful gardens, very pretty and quirky. We were the only guests there. The room was clean, air conditioning worked great, comfortable but hard bed and good shower. They only cook breakfast but we found a local bbq restaurant that was great value for dinner."

"When we arrived they didn’t have our booking which was worrying but luckily they had a room for us. The room itself is incredibly basic and the bed is very hard. The communal area is quite nice overlooking the lake and there is tea and coffee available. Good location walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops etc. The service wasn’t brilliant, the staff kept themselves to themselves and made you feel like you were in the way a little. I guess you get what you pay for with this place! "

"booked three nights. Mistake! The room was very small, no breakfast was advertised for breakfast and paid for it. after clearing the breakfast issue first day we got rice soup from the corner second morning rice and egg on top you understand coffee is not included in the breakfast i had to pay for it. the reception closed most of the day the cleaning person was sleeping, did not change the room bedsheets until i asked. I will never stay in this hotel "

"The owners make us felt at home. The old couple who managed this are so friendly and I love their Thai style fish congee for breakfast. Their son is also very kind. He came during breakfast to check on our well being if we slept well for the night. He even drove us to the bus stop where we headed for Mae klong train station. We absolutely love this cozy & homey place : )"

Perfect and authentic.
"This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve stayed at globally. It was so quaint and authentic. The setting was beautiful, at the end of the road made it quiet with trees and plants around to seclude. At the very end it overlooked the river and the pool was perfectly positioned. The restaurant is open all day and had a very extensive menu of Thai and Western foods at very reasonable prices. We ate here at every meal. Included breakfast was a choice of eggs on toast, cereal, pancakes or muesli plus drinks. The room was large with AC. The bathroom was a wet room with an electric shower that wasn’t particularly heated but it wasn’t needed in the Thai weather! Location allowed a good walk to the River Kwai bridge and outside of the war cemetery & death museum. "
