"Really impressed with this Hotel, only marginally more expensive than a travelodge but free parking until 10pm on Day of departure. Easy walking distance of the City Centre and next to both the Plantation Garden and the Roman Catholic Cathedral. Experience was more of a serviced apartment than a hotel with Fridge, Microwave, crockery and sink in a mini kitchen. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. As this is an independent hotel would strongly support to encourage local businesses."

"This hotel was lovely,staff really friendly on check in, card machine wasn’t working so had to pay cash( no problem) everything clean and well looked after."

"A lovely old building made very cosy by its present owners. Very hospitable very happy to assist still when under pressure! Lovely setting! Top rate breakfast! Will definitely go back if the occasion arises!"

"What a gorgeous hut! We stayed here for a friends wedding which was so convenient. Only things that I could fault is that the solar power usb charger point had no energy to charge our phones/ the lights weren't working. Also its a little walk to the toilet/ shower however they are excellent facilities. Maybe a bit overpriced if looking for a quiet getaway but was perfect location for the wedding we attended so would recommend for anybody attending a wedding at the abbey hall without a doubt!"
