"Very easy to use and a key location for our road trip. Instructions were easy to follow and the unique/ niche offering of the room really made it feel comfortable. Parking wasn’t so clear to pay, as the machines did not recognise the spot we parked in. Shops nearby was owned by a local and he was very helpful. "

"This was a nice hostel. They have an elevator which is nice when you have heavy bags. They also have lockers in the room and one's you can use after checkout. The location is great. The only thing was it had a very late check in time which i didnt understand. You make and strip your own beds. "

We took a bus from Solothurn to Rüttenen, Dorf, from where we started the walk toward the gorge. After passing by the hermitage and continuing on the path, we had the stream always on our left hand side, beautiful and idyllic, also photogenic of all seasons.
