"We only arrived late at night coming from the ferry - so we didn't spend too much time there. All we needed was a place to shower and sleep before continuing on our journey the next day. I had read a review previously comparing the room with a prison cell. When we arrived we both laughed as yes it did look a bit like that. However, it was clean and comfortable, and served its purpose. Check in was really easy as we had been given a code for our room. The reservation staff were really helpful...

We had a meal in the dining room overlooking the lake and it was of a high standard. The local town of Colberg is very historic and it is overlooked by a n ancient castle. "I was charged 145 for the room. Someone came in off the street behind me and asked for a room for the night. He replied 94as I walked off! Asked someone the next morning 2 people also walking to the ferry and they paid 105! Profiteering!"

"I'm going to mention the positives and negatives to be fair. Positives: first, the location of the hotel is amazing it's near the bus stop and a lot of restaurants and café and bars. 2nd, the bed is comfortable. 3rd the room is decorated very well and the colors and lighting are good. Negatives: 1st, the reception was not welcoming he seemed angry or upset for some reason which is disappointing. 2nd, the card to open the door did not work so we had to carry a key the whole time. 3rd, cleaning...
