"The good: friendly staff, close to the Métro, close walking distance to good restaurants and the Quartier des Spectacles. The less good: this is a budget hotel and it shows, with small rooms, a portable AC rather than a climate control system, a very basic and small elevator. It does not look as fancy or nice in person as in the photos. In addition, if you aren’t used to being in a city, you may be surprised to see sketchy businesses around (though there are also nicer ones) or people...

"I liked everything about the location and the property. Except for the door to the fire escape to the second floor. It was broken and it would slam the wall constantly. Also the Folgers coffee was terrible. "

"Our stay was an adventure. There was a power outage and a 5am fire alarm, but we had tons of fun despite that. The location is incredible for walking to just about anything you need. The air conditioner in the room kept everything comfy through some very warm weather."
