Narrow Gauge Railroad Inn

2.0 star property
6.6 out of 10, (262)
"We knew what we were getting especially for the price, the room was clean, the staff friendly but it is still pretty rundown. We went to ride the train and it is right next to the train depot so that was nice. Just some FYIs, not complaints, they still use actual keys, office closes from 10pm-8am, and it is a little way out of town so no dining within walking distance, but the town is only a mile away with several dining options. It served it's purpose and was really the only option in town."

"This home is nestled in the wonderful and captivating scenic beauty of the San Luis Valley of Colorado. It was a restful yet invigorating antidote for the corruption of big city stress and the curse of boring vacations in some hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very elegant cabin in the woods. There are so many enchanting places to visit nearby, and then, return to a beautiful home that was very comfortable and possessed its own allure. The hosts were very thoughtful to provide...

Imagine my surprise when browsing one of the photography magazines I subscribe to and I come across an almost identical picture in one of the articles. Cropped slightly tighter than my image and weeds were a different height. Was kind of like being published, but not. Sorta cool!
