"Wonderful property! We held our wedding here and it was absolutely gorgeous, from the house itself, to the beach it was so beautiful. We also saw an epic display of the northern lights at the end of the night of our wedding! It was a magical trip and we will certainly hope to be back! "The house overall was fine and it was clean upon arrival, which we appreciated. However, there were some drawbacks that impacted our stay. There were quite a few flies in the house, likely due to the window air conditioning units leaving gaps for bugs to get in. "So far exceeds all expectations. I wish there were 10 stars - Tommy and Annie have created an oasis just a little over an hour outside of Metro Detroit - the little touches put it over the top. I’d hate to share it if it was mine - that nice. Deer, Stars, Birds - bicycling, and a friends wedding were all crammed into a long weekend. "The property is a cottage/ cabin out of the city, so it is a bit quirky. It has well water, the room layout is a little confusing, and some of the flooring/ trim is a little off. However, it was clean and is a relaxed, welcoming, and fun property. The electronic games are great, and having a huge backyard for the dogs to run was a treat for them. It was fun playing a couple of the old records (reminded us of what our parents listened to.) We are happy to have discovered this property and plan to rent it again the next family gathering."
