"This is the second time we have visited country in the city and it was as great as the first time! The home is spacious, located close to town and met all our needs. We had my dad this time and it is a one level living with only 2 steps into the home which was perfect for him. We will always choose this home as our first chose when visiting Marlette MI. "Rooms were a little on the small side, the plugs by the beds didn’t work. This hotel allows pets, this was the first time I have stayed at a hotel with pets allowed. The rooms around us contained pets that barked in the early morning hours. Wasn’t thrilled about this. Would be more ideal to keep those of us without pets away so we can enjoy our stay. "

"A lovely home on a working farm! Very unique enjoyable stay for our family of 5 and our dog. We all got to interact with turkeys, goats, ponies, horses, and a donkey! Never would have imagined that staying on a farm would interest us but it really was great. The biggest negative was waking early due to the noisy neighbor- the rooster. The other members of the family slept right through it. Plenty of seating and sleeping accomodations for larger groups. Beautiful windows looking out at the sunrise and deer playing in the back field. Thank you Maurine!"
