"Great location for viewing Quilatoa. Staff was very attentive and room and dining facilities very clean. Food was included in the stay and good value for the price. The staff serving dinner and breakfast were very attentive, even made hot milk for me to add to my coffee. My only complaint would be that our room had an enclosed “sun porch” and the roof was a piece of hard plastic not tacked down on one corner and with the wind blowing it was very loud all night. "This Hostal is owned by a very welcoming family! There is a little fireplace when it's cold at night. The food there was very good! It's quite isolated but if you want peace of mind in a little village, this is the place to go! Great stay at around 1h 30 hike to Quilotoa crater. It's right next to the trail."

"Great place, only like 300 m from the Quilotoa Lake (Expedia staff please correct your highly inaccurate info). Good food, great staff. However, you have to speak Spanish as I believe no one speaks English here. Hey it is Ecuador so get used to it. Can't wait to get back. "
