"The location is stellar. They have improved the rooms since our last stay in 2020. The fluorescent lighting is not optimal. There was black mold growing on the shower tiles in our room 238 which I reported as we checked out. Would stay here again."

"This is a cozy place, and there's just one sleeping area with several beds. It's comfortable and quiet. Just a microwave for cooking and a very small fridge, so plan accordingly! The location was perfect for us and Lake Superior was warm and calm and beautiful. I loved sitting and watching the freighters. Make sure to get yourself to the Sugar Daddy bakery, recommended by our host and worth the trip!"
