"Good for a night or two. Tired, empty large corridors. Walls are thin. But it's warm, and in a decent area"

"Good sized room, really comfy bed! Good supply of tea and cofee. Only issue I had was window doesn't shut properly but was a mikd 2 nights so wasnt bothered. A really good priced stay and nice and close fo town centre and the cricket ground "

"Very friendly host. Great value"

"Great spot with parking and good breakfast, would book again"

"we loved everything from booking in very easy and friendly to the great room and a fantastic breakfast and the location was on the sea front."

"Really nice people and great views - loved it 👍👍"

"A lovely little hotel situated near Peasholm Park. 10 minutes from North Bay and a scenic 35 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride to South Bay (the more lively bay). Staff were excellent and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Food wise, do note that this hotel caters predominantly for the recently retired crowd (a very reasonably priced but very British menu such as kippers for breakfast and syrup sponge pudding with custard for pudding) We were the only people under 65 that I saw during my October...

"Clean room, sea view, pool, sauna, hot tub, gym, beautiful location close to the beach"

"A clean and tidy well managed guest house, that offered us a pet friendly option. Location (for us) excellent, situated on the quieter side of Scarborough but with easy access to walks along cliff top promenade and gardens together with reasonably near access to main town area. Check in was easy and parking fairly easy to access with option to purchase permit. Security and access of the building was fine. The room was very pleasant clean and tidy with perfectly adequate bathroom and good storage...

"Very welcoming hotel. Perfect location to town centre, park and beach. Would happily stay there again. "

"Simple, comfortable apartments a short walk from the seafront. Just far enough to avoid the worst of the seagulls and crowds."

"Good stay Good location"

"Short one night stay, good location, friendly staff."

"Excellent hotel, friendly staff."

"A lovely cottage in a quiet location. Nice pub within walking distance. We were nearly put off by the bad reviews, but really glad we booked! OK this is not 5* accommodation, but it isn’t advertised as that. Nicely presented and decorated, clean, has everything you need. Wi-Fi is not good. We really enjoyed our stay at the woodlands."
